DESCRIPTION
ANVAYA COVE RESIDENCE, BATAAN
ARCHITECT MIKE PEÑA
This vacation home, with its Contemporary-Tropical design, is meant to be enjoyed not just by its owners, but by their guests as well. Taking that into consideration, the house is divided into separate pavilions connected by walkways outside the house, allowing guests to enjoy their own space, while keeping the other parts of the home private.
Making use of mixed materials, the house’s exterior is clad with a combination of slate and pinewood from Finland, while the base is composed of mixed stones. Full height glass windows allow for an open and airy effect, while a pond surrounding the gazebo situated at back adds a calming and inviting feel to the home.
