BLANC PENTHOUSE
ARCHITECT LIZA CRESPO
This 350sqm, two-storey penthouse in the heart of Ortigas mirrors the design of an expansive loft reminiscent of the owner’s previous home in New York City. LEED-certified and leader in eco-architecture, Architect Liza Crespo reconfigured the apartment to maximize natural light and ventilation across the rooms, a common challenge for high-rise developments. High ceilings, open spaces, white walls, and minimal interiors all play a part in creating a modern oasis above the city’s busy streets. Upcycled materials, meanwhile, like local reclaimed wood, recycled marble chips, and even railroad tracks from the 1930s to '40s were conscientiously sourced to complete this sustainable yet cost-friendly dwelling.
