Taking on this major renovation meant transforming this '90s home into a modern dwelling. Made up of five bedrooms, a home theatre, a lap pool, and an expansive kitchen, luxe and sleek materials were employed to revamp its look. Solid-wood floors for the second floor, a special granite stone for the kitchen island, matte-black fixtures and enclosures for the bathrooms, as well as an automated system for lights and a retractable movie screen that can be controlled via mobile device are just some of its state-of-the-art features. Its exterior is clad with a special installation of natural stone-look random tiles, slanted vertical louvers made of steel for its brise-soleil, while a steel C-channel spans the horizontal portion of the structure, giving it the illusion that it is carrying both the stone and steel louvers.
